FocusLoop is a study timer and habit tracker built to work entirely on your device. This page explains — in plain language — exactly what that means for your data.
Overview
FocusLoop does not require an account, does not connect to the internet for any core feature, and does not display advertisements. Every habit, timer setting, and session you record is stored only in the app's local storage on your phone.
Because the app makes no network calls, there is nothing for us to collect, store on a server, sell, or share — there is no server. This policy exists to state that plainly and to explain the small number of device permissions the app requests.
What we don't collect
FocusLoop does not collect, transmit, or have any access to:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Your location
- Contacts, photos, or files outside the app's own storage
- Advertising identifiers or analytics/tracking data of any kind
- Any information at all that leaves your device
What stays on your device
The app stores the following, locally only, using Android's standard app storage:
Stored locally
Habits you create, your daily completion history, your Pomodoro session history, and your timer/notification preferences. None of this is readable by us, by FocusLoop's developer, or by any third party — it lives in the app's private storage on your phone, the same way a notes app keeps your notes.
If you use the in-app export feature, a CSV or backup file is created and saved to a location you choose on your own device — this is a file you control, not something sent to us.
Permissions we use
FocusLoop requests the minimum permissions needed to do what it says it does:

Third-party services
FocusLoop does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect data — no analytics tools, no crash-reporting services, no advertising networks, and no social login providers. The app does not communicate with any external server, including ours.
Data security
Since your data never leaves your device, the main protection is Android's own app-sandboxing: each app's local storage is private to that app and inaccessible to other apps by default. We recommend keeping your device's screen lock enabled and your Android OS updated, which protects all your local app data — including FocusLoop's — in the same way it protects the rest of your phone.
Your control over your data
- Export your full history to a CSV or backup file at any time, from Settings.
- Clear all app data instantly using "Reset all data" in Settings.
- Uninstalling the app removes everything — there is no copy anywhere else to delete, because none was ever made.
Children's privacy
FocusLoop is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from any user, regardless of age, there is no data of any kind at risk for younger users either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this same page with a revised "Last updated" date above. Since the app has no accounts, we have no way to email you directly — checking back here is the way to stay current.
